Fingers in My Pocket – Robin Auld Robin Auld at the Kalahari Restaurant and Theatre Meet Robin Auld at the Kalahari Restaurant and Theatre on Sunday 6 February at 14:00 and experience an afternoon of South African musical excellence performed by an international star. Auld is on tour in South Africa to promote his latest album, “Fingers in my pocket”. An eclectic mix of blues and roots songs, it was recorded in London in late 2010 and features the talents of long time collaborator and world beat drummer Barry van Zyl. Auld now based in the UK he has released 12 albums Slide guitar, harmonica, African blues guitar stylings and soul vocals all feature in the fresh and vibrant sound of award winning songwriter Robin Auld. Familiar to South Africans through early hits such as “All of woman”, “Love Kills” and “Baby you been good”, Auld’s music has evolved from the pop sound of his early recordings into the contemporary mix of blues, African and Celtic influences that make up his sound today.
