It was a lovely, sunny day and as I drove into the resort I could feel the relaxed holiday atmosphere in the air. As I parked my vehicle I was greeted by one of Dibiki’s own “watch dogs”, a friendly yet curious hen. Dibiki Holiday Resort, Garden Route Dibiki Holiday Resort lies on the left hand side of the Hartenbos River. The plots potential was first seen in 200 by the Pretorius family. In 2000 part of the land was vacant expect for the Jewish Camp and the Seventh Day Adventist Church. After the Pretorius family bought the land they had to apply for rezoning, as well as water and electricity. This was a difficult process and took the 3 years but today they are glad they did it. Caravan Accommodation in Hartenbos In December 2004 they could accommodate the first holidaymakers with caravans, ever since they have been fully booked during the December Holidays.
