Mossel Bay, a coastal town in the Garden Route is situated half way between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Bartholomew Diaz discovered the habour town in 1488. According to the Guinness Book of Records (1992) Mossel Bay has “the mildest climate in the world” second to a town in Hawaii. More than 300 sunny days per year and rain mostly falls over night. Sun drenched north facing beaches, the scenic beauty and a multitude of activities and attractions makes this a popular coastal holiday destination.
