Knysna in the Garden Route of South Africa is also well known for its carved wooden bird industry which started in 1986 by Feathers. The first bird was caved on a dining table and the original collection comprised of 14 different carvings.

Originally, Feathers of Knysna specialized only in wooden birds, but as the company grew, the product range expanded to include various other products, made with equal attention to quality and detail. The range now includes ceramic castings of wildlife, ceramic birds, cats and an incredible range of wooden birds and animals crested with fine pewter heads. Visit the Feathers Gallery where you will find the vast selection of the best of African art.

Feathers of Knysna is a member of WWF-SA (Worldwide Fund for Nature) and Proudly South African.
