De Dekke now offers hassle free Spitbraai`s at the venue of your choice in the Garden Route from Swellendam to Plettenberg Bay. The equipment is gas operated. No smoke, No mess! All equipment including, plates, knives, forks and serviettes are taken to your house, office and other venue you booked. De Dekke is situated in Great Brak river near Mossel Bay
The standard Spitbraai at R95 per person includes:
* Lamb on the spit * Garlic Bread * Pot Potatoes and onions * Noodle Salad * Fresh Green Salad
Chicken on the spit, more salads and a bread table can be added to the menu.
The minimum number of people catered for is 35.
Spit braai’s will also be held at De Dekke Restaurant in Great Brak River
Spitbraais can also be held on the deck at De Dekke in Great Brak River. The venue will then be available free of charge.

De Dekke Spitbraai caters for functions, sport events, weddings and private functions.
This is the perfect catering option for year-end functions, birthday-, bachelors -, and office parties!
Spitbraais at De Dekke on Wednesday evenings
An open spitbraai will be hosted at De Dekke on alternate Wednesday nights. Bookings must be made on the Tuesday at the latest. Costs will be R 80 per adult and R 40 for children under 12.
