Deep Sea Fishing in Mossel Bay Cob Catches are picking up in Mossel Bay Waters Winter is something of the past. Although we had good catches of  Hake and Red Fish during the winter the Cob was just gone. I am glad to say that during our fishing trips the past few weeks we were lucky to have some good cob catches. On the other side I do not think it is all about luck. Our skippers with years of experience of the Mossel Bay fishing grounds play a great role in taking our trippers to the fish. We expect that Cob will be getting more as we are nearing the summer and the temperature of the sea water will rise. A day out at sea exposes you not only to great fishing,  but also the diverse ecosystem that consists of dolphins, seals, sharks, whales the albatross and a wide variety of birdlife. Miss Garden Route and Klein Karoo 2011 Finalists

Miss Garden Route and Klein Karoo 2011 Finalists On Saturday 01 October 2011, Miss Garden Route and Klein Karoo 2011 was crowned during a prestigious Gala Event held at the Pinnacle Point Hotel and Beach Resort in Mossel Bay. Nicholis Louw at the Miss Garden Route and Klein Karoo 2011 in Mossel Bay It was an evening that will keep the town of Mossel Bay talking for a while. Guests to this Gala Event were entertained by well-known South African artist, Nicholis Louw, who did a Elvis tribute and an excellent MC , Eloise Cupido, a Pasella Presenter. The Miss Garden Route and Klein Karoo 2011 title was not the only title up for grabs. Zandrie Blom walked away with the title of Miss Photogenic, Tracey Anne Buckley with Miss Personality, as well as Miss Charity (which was awarded to the finalist who sold the most tickets to the Gala Event).
